Sixteen-Year-Old Female Killed After Turning Down Prom Invite

This is so sad. Another young life has been taken over nothing. Reportedly, 16-year-old girl was stabbed to death because she turned down a prom invitation. Maren Sanchez, a 16-year-old student of Jonathan Law High School in Connecticut was asked to prom. According to GAWKER, Sanchez told the 16 year-old boy no, the boy then allegedly choked her, pushed her down the stairway and then stabbed her.

Sanchez was later pronounced dead and the boy who stabbed her to death is in custody.

The prom has now been cancelled.
