2 Chainz draws inspiration from one of Michael Jackson's most legendary videos -- 'Thriller' -- for the visual for 'Freebase,' the title track of his new EP.

Directed by Dos Cadenas, the video takes many staples from the original including MJ's red leather jacket. Even the narrative plays out much the same way, appearing to be a movie within a movie.

Perhaps the only thing we miss in 'Freebase' is the epic dance sequence done by the zombies. However, Deuce takes the choreography into his own hands and just bounces and grooves to the beat with his crew -- both zombie and human.

Since there have been many interpretations and even parodies of this video, 2 Chainz wanted to make sure that viewers didn't get the wrong idea about his intentions in the direction of the visual.

"The video is for entertainment purposes only and dedicated to one of my favorite artists," 2 Chainz said in the disclaimer before the visual begins. "In no kind of way is it our intent to disrespect the legacy of the best entertainer of all time."

The rhymer's been pretty excited for the release of the visual, even taking to Twitter and Instagram to share photos and videos before its release.
