2 Chainz Reunites Hot Boys For “Used 2″ Video Shoot In New Orleans, Lil Wayne Reveals Shorter Dreads
2 Chainz just made a LOT of old school Cash Money Records fans happy. Yesterday, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper took it to the 7th Ward of New Orleans, LA to shoot the video for his single “Used 2.” Cameos in the video included the track’s producer, Mannie Fresh, along with Turk, Juvenile and Lil Wayne.
That’s 3 out of 4 members of the original Hot Boys for anyone who is keeping count. The missing member, B.G. (real name Christopher Dorsey) more than likely would have been there too if he wouldn’t have been sentenced to 14 years in federal prison last summer for gun possession and witness tampering.
There was no sign of Birdman to complete the full Cash Money reunion, but Lil Wayne did rock a new hairdo that now has him sporting shorter dreads. For what it’s worth, the backbone of the signature Cash Money sound and super producer, Mannie Fresh, tweeted some VERY encouraging words today.
My city and my friends in unity right now (THANK U GOD) if I ain’t a hotboy then what do u call that

#FingersCrossed for a legitimate Cash Money/Hot Boys/Big Tymers reunion project.
