Two teens - Everett Broussard and Samuel Carter (no photo available) - have been arrested for their alleged roles in burglaries at L.J. Alleman, S.J. Montgomery and Lafayette High schools over the weekend.

Lafayette Police spokesman Corporal Paul Mouton says Broussard and Carter broke into the schools in the early morning hours on Sunday, causing over $9,000.00 in damages to school property, including electronic equipment and instruments.

Both teens have each been charged with multiple counts of Simple Burglary and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
