As a rule, people don't get cash for Mardi Gras, they usually spend cash during Mardi Gras so Friday's Mega Millions Lottery drawing really turned the table for someone who purchased a ticket in Lafayette.

According to the Louisiana Lottery, the ticket was sold at Stripes at 911 Ambassador Caffery. The winning ticket matched four of the white balls, the Mega Ball, and the multiplier was purchased for this ticket too. The grand total, $30,000.

The numbers from the Friday, February 9th drawing were:

28-34-41-46-47 and the Mega Ball of 14. The Megaplier was times three.

So the numbers chosen were worth $10,000 and the Megaplier tripled the winnings to $30,000.

If you bought a ticket be sure to check your numbers. Meanwhile, the overall Mega Millions Jackpot was not won in Friday's drawing. That total is now an estimated $153,000,000. The next Mega Millions drawing will be Tuesday night at 9:59 PM.
