Sgt. L'Jean McKneely, a spokesman for Baton Rouge police, said officers were keeping close watch on the Tigerland bar and noticed a large amount of young teens in the parking lot. Police spent three weeks doing surveillance before executing the raid on Reggie's.

20 citations for lacking a picture ID, another 20 citations for unlawful entry to a bar by someone under 18, eight citations for using a fake ID to purchase alcohol, four open container violations and nine citations for underage possession of alcohol. Three people were also cited for resisting arrest, one person for disturbing the peace by drunkenness and one person for battery on a police officer

Reggie's is one of the most popular bars, not only in Tigerland, but in the entire city when it comes to students who attend LSU. Monday night, many had gathered to watch LSU play in Game 1 of the of the College World Series Finals right before the raid took place.

Many on social media say they are not surprised at the amount of arrests while others believe the sting was a waste of "resources and time."
