50 Cent Reenacts His Near-Fatal Shooting in ‘9 Shots’ Video [VIDEO]

50 Cent reenacts his near-fatal 2000 shooting that left him wounded with nine bullets lodged inside of him in his new video for “9 Shots.”

While Fif has talked about this incident plenty of times in his songs, he brings the visual to the story in the Eif Rivera-directed clip. The video stars 50 as a street toughie who makes some deadly choices in his life that, ultimately, results in his comeuppance at the end.

G-Unit soldiers Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks co-star in the clip that also features the gritty streets of 50’s hometown of Queens, N.Y. We also watch the “I Get Money” rapper detail some of his most painful moments in his life like the passing of his beloved mother.

“Now I’m on my own, mommy gone,” rhymes Fif. “I am what I am, Sabrina’s only baby / Practicing in the mirror, pulling out my .380.," he raps.

Visually, you could compare the video to his 2003 clip for "Many Men" but the two story lines are totally different.

"9 Shots" is from 50 Cent's upcoming album Street King Immortal, which has gone through several delays. There's still no official release date for project but its expected to feature guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar and Eminem with production assists from Dr. Dre.
