Rachael Farrohk weighs approximately 40-pounds after battling anorexia for a decade. With the help of her husband, Rod Edmonson, the couple have raised over $100,000 through a GoFundMe page to try to get her to a hospital that will provide her with the help she needs.

Rachael has been battling anorexia for over ten years and has been to several treatment centers, but she is still fighting for her. Weighing only 40-pounds there is only one hospital in Colorado that will treat her at this stage of her disease. Rachael explained to CNN that her husband, Rod, had to quit his job to be her full-time caregiver and they need money to get her the treatment she needs, so Rod has created a GoFundMe page in hopes of raising enough money to save his wife's life.

In Rachael's heartbreaking video she is finally speaking out about her illness and says she is ready to get better. Rod's GoFundMe page has reached their goal of $100,000 in just 23 days and is now over $160,000.

The couple hopes Rachaels story will start a serious conversation about this disease. They wrote on their GoFundMe page "People think it’s just about being skinny and that they just need to eat something and it will be all better, the reality is people are hurting so much that they’re trying to make themselves disappear, and if we ignore it we let them.”
