Acadiana Gets Another Big Money Lottery Winner

A new week, another new big money winner for Louisiana lottery players. This time the big money ticket was purchased in Scott. The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. Plus the ticket purchaser had invoked the Power Play option in the multi-state game.

The numbers from Saturday, May 19, 2018, were:

The $150,000 winner was sold at the Racetrac #381 on Ambassador Caffery Parkway. There was also a $50,000 Powerball winning ticket sold in Slidell for the May 19th drawing.

While those prize amounts are nice they pale in comparison to the $315 million that was won by a single ticket in New Jersey. That means the Powerball jackpot will now reset at $40,000,000 for this Wednesday night's drawing.
