Actor Seth Rogen was before the U.S Senate to address Alzheimer's Research. His opening statement surely redefines the term "breaking the ice." This is pure awesomeness.

I particularly liked when he noted that some on the panel have not seen "Knocked Up," and then one senator goes on the record to note that the words "Knocked Up" had never been used before the panel until then, good stuff.

The opening statement was pure comedy, but his message later was everything but funny. He was there to talk about his mother-in-law who suffers from the disease, and that's when things turned from comedy to sadness.

I applaud Seth for using his status to address such an important issue at hand.
