LSU quarterback Brandon Harris received death threats after his performance against Wisconsin in the Tigers' season opener, according to a story published on theadvocate.com.

The website referenced an interview done on The Culotta and Prince Morning Show on ESPN 104.5 FM in Baton Rouge.  In that interview, former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard, a St. Thomas More product, said he spoke to Harris to offer some advice as to how to handle the situation.

Howard says he was the object of death threats when he was at LSU, specifically after his six-interception performance against Auburn more than 20 years ago.  Howard said Harris was "really shaken up."
