An Alabama man was taunted and shot in both legs during an altercation at a Tuscaloosa, AL gas station in the hours after Alabama's game against LSU.

Tuscaloosa's AL.com is reporting the 30-year-old victim pulled into a Shell station to use the restroom when he began being taunted for being an Alabama fan by two unknown suspects. When the taunts escalated to a physical altercation, one of the two suspects produced a firearm. The victim then produced his own firearm from his vehicle. That's when the suspect with the firearm shot the victim in both legs. The victim returned fire and the suspects fled in a black car.

Tuscaloosa police do not know if the suspects were LSU fans.

The case is still under investigation.
