Two Alabama Crimson Tide football fans have been arrested for breaking into LSU's  Tiger Stadium and vandalizing the field.

BleacherReport.com reported the air of 18-year-old 'Bama fans--Timothy Foley and Sean McGinty-- were arrested today for scratching up the "eye of the tiger logo" at midfield.

The pair was charged with criminal trespassing, issued summons and released this morning.

ESPN's Marty Smith tweeted that the dedicated Tiger Stadium grounds crew have already repainted the damage that the vandals committed at Death Valley.

The heated rivalry between the two schools' football teams reaches its precipice tonight as the Tigers host  the Crimson Tide. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
