A Clements High student may be facing disciplinary actions after she snapped a "selfie" next to a cadaver during a field trip last week with her anatomy class to University of Alabama in Birmingham.

The student, while smiling, snapped the photo while nobody was looking and posted the photo on Instagram. Reports indicate that she not only took the photo next to body used for Science research, but she actually lifted the sheet covering the body for a "better photo op."

A fellow classmate of the girl in the photo grabbed the distasteful photo off Instagram before it was removed, and showed it to her family. The student's family then notified the high school administrators of the photo, and that is when the investigation began.

The university policy in labs where cadavers are housed does not permit phones or cameras, still this student was able to sneak her camera phone in and take this disturbing photo.
