American Idol Top 6 Perform Tonight

It seems like only yesterday we were cheering Jaycee Badeaux in the Hollywood rounds until his early departure just before the top 13 were decided. Now we're down to the final six. The guys have a two person advantage, with Casey Abrams, James Durbin, Jacob Lusk and Scott McCreery competing against Hayley Reinhart and Lauren Alaina. Tonight they'll be performing the music of Carole King. Given the musical selection for the week, I'm thinking that Hayley will have the advantage, leaving Scott McCreery and Jacob Lusk in the bottom two. Casey will get by with his 'Seth Rogan' appearance and uncompromising musical style, and James will most likely have to do an understated, non-screaming performance to make it to the top five. Lauren Alaina should do just fine as well, but we'll all see tonight. Make sure you vote for your favorite when the show wraps up tonight and we'll all tune in together Thursday to see either Jacob or Scott hit the bricks.
