After a stellar breakout year, Aminé is continuing to dominate when it comes to putting up numbers. The Portland rapper's smash hit "Caroline," which landed a spot on our 25 Biggest Bangers of Summer 2016 list last year, has just been certified three times platinum by the RIAA.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, the hit song, released through Republic Records, reached the huge feat last week on June 5, 2017. If you recall, the record by the 2017 XXL Freshman peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 by December 2016, and reached double platinum status back in April.

Aminé even boosted the song's popularity back in November 2016 when he added on a viral anti-Trump verse to the song while performing on The Tonight Show.

“9/11, a day that we’re never forgetting/11/9, a day that we’re all regretting/If my president is Trump then it’s relevant enough to talk about it on TV and not give a (gasp)/I’m black and I’m proud/My skin is brown and I’m loud/Everybody love it when a rapper tell some lies/That ain’t me homie, I guess that a surprise/America wanna act all happy and holy/When deep down inside they like Brad and Jolie/Caroline divine, and I won’t get specific/Club banana the illest and it’s too terrific/You can never make America great again/All you ever did was make this country hate again," Aminé rapped to the crowd.

Earlier today, XXL revealed the 2017 Freshman class, which Aminé was picked for alongside Kamaiyah, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PnB Rock, Madeintyo, Playboi Carti, Kap G, Kyle, Ugly God and 10th Spot winner XXXTentacion. You can get your tickets to the Freshman show in New York on June 28th here.

Congratulations to Aminé for hitting another major accomplishment in his rising career.
