The biggest news from the Apple is that it will not cost more than a MacBook Air. The cynic in me thinks that was all to build up hype. The iPhone 8 will start at $699 and the iPhone 8 Plus will start at $899. With options that will bring the price close to the $1,000 mark. There are a lot of cool new features. Portrait lighting will be a cool feature.
