Lafayette Police Department Spokesman Karl Ratcliff reports that three people have been arrested in connection with yesterday's armed robbery on Macon Street.

The three men are also suspects in other cases.

Police arrested 21-year-old Latrene Talbert, 22-year-old Devin Harris and 23-year-old Lewis Landry. They have been charged with three counts of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery.

Police believe the three men are responsible for yesterday's armed robbery on Macon Street along with the armed robberies at the 2000 block of W. Congress Street on May 8th and the 1500 block of E. Simcoe Street on May 7.

Tuesday morning, two suspects described as black males allegedly robbed a business in the 200 block of Macon Street. Lafayette Police say it happened around 11:00 a.m. when the pair went into the business with masks and took an undisclosed amount of money. Officers say they got away in a silver sedan.
