Lamson Park, home of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns, will have a little bit of a different look when the 2019 college softball seasons begins.

The installation of artificial turf at the park, which will be complete in time for the 2019 season, is continuing.

The project, which is slated slated to be completed in January, and now looking to be well ahead of schedule, will have the new surface cover the outfield, foul ball areas, and the right field bullpen.

The infield will remain all dirt.

In addition, a new warning track area will be added, as well as new logos on the playing surface.
