I am a lifelong resident of the Acadiana area, attending Northside High School and the University of Louisiana (formerly the University of Southwestern Louisiana.), before beginning my career in the radio industry back in 1990. I've hosting the popular morning show, "Thinking Out Loud", for eleven years. As part of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajun Radio Network, I do sideline coverage duties for UL football, along with part-time play-by-play duties for UL men's basketball and baseball. I am also the main play-by-play voice of UL women's basketball and softball. I have had the pleasure of being on the broadcast team involving two college football bowl teams, in addition to calling one NCAA Women's Basketball Regional, two NCAA Baseball Regionals, and eleven NCAA Softball Regionals, including four Super-Regionals, and two Women's College World Series. In 2013, I was honored, by being voted the Sunbelt Conference Broadcaster of the Year. In 2009, I was part of the ESPN 1420 radio family that was nominated for the prestigious Marconi Award for Sports Station of the Year. An avid runner, I have completed two full marathons. I'm a life-long fan of the Houston Astros, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Mavericks, and professional wrestling, I enjoy vacationing in Las Vegas, and of course, dining at every Dairy Queen and Denny's restaurant possible. I reside with my wife, Melissa, along with our daughter, Mia, in Lafayette, along with our boxer, Buster, and our two cats.
