Fans have been waiting patiently for Azealia Banks to release her debut album, 'Broke With Expensive Taste.' But alas, it looks as if the Harlem rapper is at a stalemate. She recently pleaded to get out of her record deal with Universal Records and shared the news via Twitter.

She also wrote that she's "tired" of "having to consult a group of old white guys" about her "Black girl craft," and added, "I would literally give anything to be on XL right now."

XL Recordings is the indie label home of Tyler, the Creator, who released 'Wolf' last year to rave reviews.

Last December, Angel Haze went on a similar Twitter rant and leaked her debut album 'Dirty Gold.' This didn’t bode well for the rapper as her LP only sold about 1,000 copies in the U.S., during its first week of release.

While her situation seems dire, at the end of her Twitter rant, Banks seemed to be in better spirits.
