A basketball official was knocked out upon tip-off during the Vanderbilt and La Salle game. Referee Rick Crawford took an elbow to the temple region and immediately fell to the floor.

As you can see here the official was out cold, and what was scary about the whole situation was that Crawford's eyes never closed. He was on the court for a few minutes before paramedics rolled him off the court on a stretcher.

The good news is that Crawford is okay, and will be able to resume officiating in the near future. Still, that was awkward to see him just lay there with his eyes wide open and not move.
