A television reporter in Baton Rouge was arrested while investigating the mayor's salary in While Castle.

Chris Nakamoto, who works for WBRZ-TV, was put into handcuffs when he refused to leave the city hall in White Castle. The reporter was conducting an investigation into the mayor's salary and was there to retrieve a public record request.

Instead, Nakamoto became part of a different story when he was arrested after refusing to leave the public building. He was put into handcuffs and then taken into the police station.

The investigative reporter was given a summons and will have to appear in court at a later date.
