Beer pong is usually associated with party atmospheres, but the fun died down quickly for two people who's game ended abruptly when they were shot.

A Fourth of July party in Chicago took a turn for the worse when Manus Shannon accidentally shot two people during a round of beer pong. Shannon was waiving a semiautomatic 9mm in his opponents face in an effort to distract him when the firearm went off.

His opponent was shot in the hand and the bullet and the bullet also struck another bystander in the shoulder while he was texting. Luckily, both men were able to drive themselves to the hospital and were put in stable condition.

To make matters worse, Shannon was arrested for the mishap on his 27th birthday.
