Belmont Fan Sings ‘Wrecking Ball’ And Distracts UNC Player At Free Throw Line [VIDEO]

Fans have been known to do some rather ridiculous things at basketball games to distract opposing players at the free throw line, but one Belmont fan took things to a different level when he sang "Wrecking Ball" as a North Carolina player took to the charity stripe.

Watch as UNC's James McAdoo approaches the line and the fan starts singing the Miley Cyrus hit song!! Notice how the arena got really quiet as McAdoo went to the line, that's because he was on his home court and fans did not want to distract him.

Well that would be most fans. As you can hear in the video above, one fan did his part to distract the UNC player and it may have cost the Tarheels the game. Belmont defeated nationally ranked UNC 83-80.
