Beyonce takes us inside the making of her new album in her 'Self-Titled' video series. In Part 2, titled 'Imperfection,' the songstress opens up about the message on the new LP and what makes her happy.

"My message behind the album was finding beauty in imperfection," she explains. "At the end of the day, when you go through all of these things... Is it worth it?" she asks.

The superstar says that she finds true happiness in her daughter, Blue Ivy, and husband, Jay Z. "Nothing feels like my child saying, 'Mommy!'" she gushes and cuts to a scene with her child. "Nothing feels like when I look my husband in the eye. Nothing feels like when I'm respected, when I get on the stage and I see I'm changing peoples' lives. Those are the things that matter. And at this point in my life, that's what I'm striving for. Growth, love, happiness, fun. Enjoy your life. It's short. That's the message."

The message has resonated with fans as 'Beyonce' officially tops the Billboard 200 chart today. The achievement makes the singer the first woman to hit No. 1 with her first five studio albums. Only two others have been able to reach the same record: rapper DMX and folk group the Kingston Trio.

With 617,000 copies sold, the visual LP, which features 14 songs and 17 videos, also snags the largest sales week for a woman in 2013, and the year's fourth-biggest sales week overall.

Congrats, Beyonce!
