At a very young age, Blue Ivy Carter is already learning the tricks to outsmarting the paparazzi when exiting a building.

Early Tuesday morning (Jan. 10), Blue Ivy’s superstar parents — Beyonce and Jay-Z — took their little princess home from Lenox Hill Hospital in New York where she was brought into the world on Saturday, Jan. 7.

According to the Daily News, Beyonce and Jay-Z — with their little one in tow — left the hospital through the side gate around 1:30AM ET Tuesday. Assisting in the safe and private departure from the uptown hospital were two SUV’s with limo-tint windows that blocked traffic on East 76th Street, allowing a van (also with tinted windows) to make its way through town without hitting any traffic.

Now that they’re resting comfortably in their own home, the staff at Lenox Hills will be able to get to work without battling paps in the street waiting for the opportunity to score the first picture of the little royal baby Carter! Not to mention Mom, Dad and baby Blue will finally get to put good use to their extravagant 2,200 square foot nursery that they had set up for their little one, complete with a high-dollar crib.
