Beyonce just wrapped up her Formation World Tour earlier this month in New Jersey and from all accounts it was an enormous success. According to Billboard, Queen Bey’s blockbuster trek grossed over $256,084, 556 with 2.2 million tickets sold.

To break it all down, each concert earned an average of $5.2 million with 46,000 paid concertgoers in attendance. Queen Bey’s biggest tour stop was at London’s Wembley Stadium where she performed on July 2 and July 3. Overall, those two dates raked in $15.3 million with 142, 500 tickets sold. Also, the her two New York tour stops grossed $11.5 million with 73,486 tickets sold.

In the end, Beyonce’s Formation World Tour was breaking records in ticket sales both in North America and overseas. And let’s not forget that these totals doesn’t include revenue from the merchandise sold at these venues.

"When everybody acknowledges the greatness of the production but, more than that, everybody is blown away by her, that’s the ultimate skill,” Arthur Fogel, the chairman of Live Nation’s Global Touring division, about Beyonce's record-breaking tour. “To not only use the platform of a great production, but to rise above it as a performer and artist, that’s her incredibly unique quality.”

Congratulations to Beyonce for smashing records with her Formation Wold Tour.
