Big Boi is gearing up to drop his highly-anticipated third full-length solo album. The LP, Boomiverse, will be the first release for Big Boi via Epic Records and it's due out in June. Today (April 20), the Atlanta legend premieres "Mic Jack" featuring Adam Levine, his first single off Boomiverse.

Produced by DJ Dahi and DJ Khalil, “Mic Jack” makes you want to dance, pairing Big Boi's funky vibe with Levine's catchy hook.

"Niggas still ain't fuckin' with Hollywood Cole/Cause they fuckin' wit' ya boi like the Hollywood dough/Everything big, no comin' up short/Jack the buzzer beater up, all net, half court/The game winning shot, your name sayin', not/That same skinny thot you got, she be in and out," raps the hip-hop veteran.

The dog-loving rhyme-slinger is also planning to release a second single today titled “Kill Jill” featuring Killer Mike and Jeezy. Big Boi previewed some of his new records on the way yesterday (April 19).

As a member of OutKast, Big Boi has been making great music for over two decades. His last solo project was his 2012 release, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. He also released a joint collaboration with Phantogram called Big Grams in 2015, which was a seven-track EP containing appearances from both Run The Jewels as well as Skrillex.
