Big Sean is gearing up to drop his new album and he's letting some of the most important names in the industry hear it. The Detroit rapper and G.O.O.D. Music golden child shared a pic last week (Aug. 27) of himself and famed Def Jam Records founder Rick Rubin listening to his new album for the first time.

“Now listening to my 4th album,” Sean captioned the pic he shared on Twitter with Rubin. With their shoes kicked off and their feet up on the couch, you can tell both Rick and Sean Don are feeling the new music.

And Rubin's weren't the only ears Sean laid his new material on. Jay Z also got an exclusive preview of Sean's work last week as well.

"Going thru my 4th album with one of the masters. Almost ready. Been clique since #Clique," wrote the 28-year-old when posting a flick of him and Hov in an office. Check out the pics in the tweets above and below.

Big Sean's third studio album Dark Sky Paradise was easily one of the top hip-hop albums released last year. Peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in February 2015, the certified platinum LP was a labor of love two years in the making for Sean. With features from Kanye West, Drake, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign and more, the album birthed dope singles and ended up atop many music critics best-of lists.

As of 2016, Big Sean has been globetrotting on Rihanna's Anti World Tour all summer. Earlier this year Sean graced XXL's Spring 2016 cover where he talked about his collab EP with Jhene Aiko, Twenty88.

No word yet on collabs for this upcoming LP, but check out who in hip-hop Sean's been playing it for below.
