Blac Youngsta Detained By Police for Withdrawing $200,000 from Bank [VIDEO]

In a bizarre case of “banking while black,” rapper Blac Youngsta was detained by police after he withdrew $200,000 in cash from a Wells Fargo bank in Atlanta on Friday (Jan. 8).

According to 11Alive, the Memphis rhymer, who is signed to Yo Gotti’s label, withdrew $200,000 in cash and left the bank. It was when he stepped outside of the bank that police handcuffed him while they investigate a possible check forgery.

"They come bum rushing me at the car, put me on the ground, putting guns to my head, so I’m like ‘What I’d do,’” he told 11Alive. “A lady was like I’m not supposed to have...$200,000 on me. I’m like, ‘I’m a millionaire. How can I not have $200,000 on me?’”

Blac, whose real name is Sam Benson, said police told them that someone had written a bogus check prior to his arrival at the bank. “They thought I did it too, but I’m legit," he said. “They confused me with whoever they were looking for.”

Police initially took $100,000 of his cash and later returned it to him. Oh, and investigators did apprehend a suspect who wrote the fraudulent check at the bank.

Blac said that he took out the money to buy a new Maybach vehicle, but after the incident, he's feeling a little bit more sporty.

“They really made me so mad right now I might buy me a Ferrari. I feel aggressive. I’m feeling fast,” he said.

Of course, it goes without saying that Blac could have easily just written a check for the car but apparently the rapper doesn't believe in checks.

“I always dreamed about going to the bank, getting a half a million...and putting the half-million on the dish, like ‘Give me that Ghost right there,’” he said.

"I tote $100,000 on me everywhere I go," he added. "I might throw this up in the strip club tonight just 'cause they made me mad."
