Multiple sources are reporting that LSU has ended their search for a new Defensive Coordinator.

Kevin Steele, previously the defensive coordinator at Alabama, has reportedly accepted an offer from LSU and will coach the defense in Baton Rouge this spring and fall.

Steele, 56, has coached in the SEC with Tennessee and Alabama.  He arrived in Tuscaloosa with Nick Saban in 2007.  He left for two seasons to coach at Clemson before returning to the Tide in 2013.  Steele spent last season as the linebackers coach at Alabama but has coordinator experience with Alabama and Clemson.
