Two rather famous artists from Louisiana are turning to their celebrity friends in an effort to aid those affected by the floods in and around the New Orleans following Hurricane Isaac. Pop Icon Britney Spears and rapper Master P are coming together in an effort to help those who lost everything in the recent floods in Louisiana. The two stars, both from Louisiana, will partner-up with each other and organize events to benefit the victims of the recent floods. Master P has called upon other Hollywood stars such as Justin Bieber, Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Ne-yo, Beyonce, Michael Bolten, Will Smith, and Dwight Howard to assist he and Spears with the cause.

According to Yourblackworld,  "Master P and his team are currently organizing music festivals and Black Tie functions to raise funds and awareness about the damages caused by natural disasters in the Gulf Coast."

It is always reassuring to see stars with such huge followings come back home in the time of need. We salute both Britney and Master P for taking the time out of their schedules to help their fellow Louisianians. We will continue to follow their efforts in the days, weeks, and months ahead.
