Buffalo Wild Wings Apologies After Employee Censors National Anthem

Buffalo Wild Wings has apologized after one of its employees reportedly censored the National Anthem prior to a football game.

The employee, in southern California, reportedly turned the volume down during the National Anthem because he said it is too "divisive."

Customers in the establishment also say that the employee stated that this was a corporate policy, but now the national chain is saying that is not so.

Buffalo Wild Wings says that they do not have such a policy and that the employee did not have to censor or mute the National Anthem.  

Since the censorship in the restaurant, many customers have gone to social media in an effort to boycott Buffalo Wild Wings. Knowing that I'm sure that is why the company has issued the following statement.

There's no word on the employee's current status with the company after this isolated incident.

The censorship reportedly happened prior to a Monday Night football game on September 11th.
