Veteran rhyme-slinger Bun B has announced the title of his new project — it’s called ‘The Epilogue.’ The album is slated for a Nov. 12 release on Rap-A-Lot Records.

The effort will reportedly be a compilation of unreleased material (circa 2010′s ‘Trill O.G.’ album) and will be the fourth and final installment in the Trill series.

“It’s a lot of good music that either didn’t fit the format of the last album or that we decided to save for another project,” said Bun B in a statement (via Rap Radar). “I sat down with my long time business partner and Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince to review the music that we had and quickly came up with an outstanding track list. ‘The Epilogue’ is the perfect opportunity to release some great material to the fans and a proper final chapter for the Trill-ogy. Good music is timeless.”

‘The Epilogue’ will boast guest appearances from Raekwon, Big K.R.I.T., Z-Ro and Devin The Dude.

The Trill O.G. just released his fiery new single, ‘Fire’ featuring Rick Ross, 2 Chainz and dancehall crooner Serani.

Meanwhile, Bun B has teamed up with the Houston Symphony for a special concert. The rapper will perform original songs that honor local civil rights activists for the Anti-Defamation League’s Houston in Concert Against Hate event.

“[I'm] the first rapper ever to perform with them,” says Bun B of the music event (quotes courtesy of HipHopDX). “It’s the 100-year anniversary of the Houston Symphony and the 100-year anniversary of the Anti-Defamation League, so they’re partnering together for a concert presentation honoring Houston heroes of civil rights and people who have stood against injustice, against hatred and against violence.”

“So they wanted to put together a musical accompaniment, and they thought it was the perfect time to incorporate a hip-hop element and my name came first on the list,” he continues. “I wasn’t going to let them get to the second name.”

The Houston in Concert Against Hate event is set for Nov. 12 at Jones Hall in Houston.
