For any of you who aren't originally from the Acadiana area, or just may not have seen/heard it, this is a fun way to show off the Cajun lifestyle.

According to VIMEO user Rick Lagneaux, the video was filmed in Butte LaRose and Lafayette. Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin' Cajuns cover an Acadiana classic examining the life of Cajuns down in south Louisiana.

Jamie Bergeron's version of the song was recorded 4 years ago and is a cover of Cypress City Band from waaay back in the day. It's new to me as I'm originally from New Orleans and I've only been living in Lafayette for 2 years now. Check out the original song below.
