Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajun football team returns to the gridiron on Saturday afternoon, when coach Mark Hudspeth’s squad plays host to the ULM Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference contest.

The match-up serves as this year's homecoming game for Louisiana.

The Cajun Harley Davidson Tailgate begins at 2 pm on ESPN 1420 and espn1420.com, with the rest of the network, including Hot 107.9 and 1079ishot.com, joining the broadcast in time for the Hampton Toyota Pregame Show, which will begin at 3 pm.

Kickoff time at Cajun Field is set for 4 o’clock.

Louisiana, who fell to Arkansas St., 37-27, back on October 20, is currently 2-4 on the season, and 1-1 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Offensively, the Cajuns are averaging 30.2 points-per-game, along with 442.2 total yards, 231.3 rushing yards, and 210.8 passing yards, while allowing 33.2 points, 412.7 total yards, 208.2 rushing yards, and 204.5 passing yards.

Louisiana is led by junior running back Elijah McGuire, who has compiled 617 yards, along with 8 touchdowns, on 110 carries.

ULM, who lost to Idaho, 27-13, last Saturday, will head into the match-up at 1-6, overall, and 0-3 in league play.

Offensively, the Warhawks are averaging 20.4 points, along with 316.0 total yards, 98.9 rushing yards, and 217.1 passing yards a contest, while allowing 36.6 points, 458.1 total yards, 205.4 passing yards, and 252.7 rushing yards.

ULM is paced by freshman quarterback Garrett Smith, who has passed for 1,491 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing for another 169 yards and two scores.

Louisiana leads the all-time series, 26-24, and has won 6 of the last 7 meetings, including a 34-27  win over the Warhawks a year ago.
