The lights will go on at Blackham Coliseum this Thursday night, as Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun basketball team will host their quarterfinal game in the CIT, according to Jay Walker.

After traveling for their first two games of the CIT (Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Sam Houston in Huntsville, TX), coach Bob Marlin and his team will be happy for some home cooking, with a retro feel.

Blackham Coliseum was home to UL basketball from 1949 until the time the Cajundome was built in 1984. It served as the home for Cajun hoops temporarily during the 2005-2006 season while the Cajundome was home to several hundred Hurricane Katrina evacuees.

Louisiana will play the winner of Eastern Illinois versus Evansville. The two teams play tomorrow night in Charleston, Illinois.
