Cardi B is never shy about using her voice and her platform to share her candid thoughts, but Cosmopolitan gave her the opportunity to use it for an important movement. Yesterday (March 19), the magazine unveiled their full cover story with the "Bodak Yellow" rapper, where she speaks on a slew of topics, including video vixens being left out of Hollywood's #MeToo movement, as well as her own dealings with sexual harassment in the industry.

During her conversation with the outlet, Cardi says that plenty of vixens have been speaking out about sexual harassment within the music industry, but no one is taking them seriously enough. She even remarks on her own experiences while coming up as a rising vixen, claiming that people have exposed themselves to her in the past.

“A lot of video vixens have spoke about this and nobody gives a fuck,” she says. “When I was trying to be a vixen, people were like, ‘You want to be on the cover of this magazine?’ Then they pull their dicks out. I bet if one of these women stands up and talks about it, people are going to say, ‘So what? You’re a ho. It don’t matter.’”

She also says that the men who have embraced the #MeToo movement are faking their support because "they're scared."

“These producers and directors, they’re not woke, they’re scared,” she exclaims.

During the rest of the conversation, Cardi also addresses the reports of her fiancé, Offset, cheating on her, elaborating on why she has decided to work it out with him, as well as why she goes so hard about her past as a stripper.
