Few artists are living the dream quite like Cardi B, and tonight is the icing on the cake of what's been an excellent year for the Bronx rapper. At Sunday night's (Jan. 28) Grammy Awards in New York City, she took the stage with Bruno Mars for his "Finesse" remix, giving an energetic and memorable performance.

Their set starts with Cardi B rapping her verse from "Finesse" in a retro outfit and bucket hat, her long multi-colored ’fit sweeping the ground. The camera then cuts to Bruno Mars dressed in similar throwback clothing, with his band and backup singers joining him. There's a dance break with a new mix for the "Finesse (Remix)," then Cardi returns to the stage and closes the performance with a few bars from her hit single "Bodak Yellow."

The "Finesse (Remix)" caught the attention of some big names, namely Diddy and Jim Carrey. Diddy posted a video of himself dancing to the song on Instagram, one of the higher compliments you can get on your music. Jim Carrey complimented the song and video in a tweet, considering the visual is based around the comedy show In Living Color, which helped launch his career.

Cardi has seen tons of success as of recently, and with no slowing down in sight. Her music is really taking off, posting five songs simultaneously on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, breaking a record previously held by Beyoncé.

The rhymer also made this year's Forbes Future Moguls list, alongside rappers like Playboi Carti and Tyler, The Creator. In addition to that, she dropped her documentary on Tidal, showing her humble beginnings and the intricate details of her new life.
