As another year comes to an end, we always seem to reflect on the year gone by. The music scene put out some great music this year, so let's take a look back at the biggest, hottest songs of 2011.
Well, the new year is finally here, and to start it off right, we've compiled the list of the hottest songs right now.
In Saturday's R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl there were a few Sports Center worthy plays. One did make Sunday's Top 10 Plays of the Day on Sports Center. It was Darryl Surgent's one-handed 4th quarter catch down the sideline.
So what happens during finals week at a college? Most people think of studying, boat loads of stress, staying up late hours, etc. The students this semester at UL Lafayette had a better idea though, FLASH RAVE!!!!!!!!!
I'll be honest, I never was a big Hunter Hayes fan. I always thought he was cheesy. I mean, I would see him every now and then over the years at State Fairs or festivals, and he would be up on stage with his cheesy blond bowl cut, his cheesy undersized accordian, with his cheesy guitar solos, and cheesy songs
If you like something in real life, chances are, there is a Facebook page for it. From Oreos to Origami, Facebook gives us the chance to keep up with our favorite people, places and things as well as allowing us to socialize and converse with those who share the same particular interest
It's something we've known as long as we've been living in the area. It's hard to top the diversity and quality of the food here in Lafayette, and the judges with Rand McNally agree.
Living in Lafayette, sometimes you forget the people who went on to represent our area in the national scene. Some are still working nationally to increase awareness of our community, while some have come home to continue the work locally
