This morning we gave away our last of three Thanksgiving Baskets from Heleaux's Grocery. Many of you have nominated people you know, but there was one letter that we just could not pass up, and it was written to us by Jacob Boudreaux.

This morning Chris Reed and Candice gave away the first of three Thanksgiving Baskets to a family in Kaplan. Sasha P. nominated the family of Debbie Simon to be the recipients, and after reading Sasha's e-mail it was quiet obvious that this family was deserving of the basket.

Halloween has to the second funnest holiday out there, only behind Christmas, so we thought that it would be good idea to start our trick-or treating early this morning. Chris Reed and Candice, along with Cayeene from UL, set-up shop at the intersection of Ambassador and Johnston to hand-out candy as many of you were on your way to school or work.

By now we all know that the professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan is in a serious legal battle over a sex tape that was leaked out. Hogan has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Gawker, the website that allegedly leaked the tape, Heather Clem, and former best friend radio DJ Bubba The Love Sponge.

This morning, Tuesday morning, U.S. Olympic Gymnast John Orozco was in the Hot 107-9 studio to discuss his Olympic experience and talk about the Kellogg’s Tour of Gymnastics Champions coming to the Cajundome this Sunday, October 21st.

Hot 107-9 and Meche's Donut King in Broussard teamed-up on Tuesday morning and delivered donuts to UL students waiting for the bus at Cajun Field. We showed up at Cajun Field at 8am with 10-dozen donuts and served donuts to those students waiting for their ride to campus.
