At Justice’s show, we found the guy in the banana costume who was selling granola earlier by the port-o-lets. A girl with a pink wig was riding on his shoulders, both hands gripped to the felt stem on his head. All around them were bright colors – the green of the glow sticks, the Easter blue of unicorn costumes, the yellows of the banana costumes. It was a little weird, and we felt ourselves getting all giddy at the prospect of an epic party.

July 31, 2012 The American Idol Live! Tour made a stop in Lafayette, LA yesterday and put on one heck of a show in front of a sold-out Cajundome crowd! American Idol winner Phillip Phillips rocked the stage. Idol runner-up Jessica Sanchez serenaded south Louisiana with her smooth vocals, along with great performances from all of the Idol finalists.
Festival International de Louisiane 2012 will take place from April 25-29th in Downtown Lafayette.
This annual global music festival is one of the most popular festivals of the year, with artists, crafts and performers arriving from countries around the world.
