Then, it was the INSANELY huge 'Morganza Snake' that had slithered out of hiding to strike fear into the hearts of Acadiana Facebook users. Well, it turns out that <a href="http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=242_1279955525" target="_blank">video of the gators</a> was actually from a rare feeding frenzy caught on tape a year ago in Georgia, and the <a href="http://1079ishot.com/insanely-huge-snake-spotted-near-morganza-real-or-fake-photo/" target="_blank">'Morganza Snake'</a> was really a King Brown snake, the second longest species of snake in Australia, <a href="http://hypervocal.com/news/2011/so-the-20-foot-long-morganza-snake-photo-is-real-but-the-story-is-not/" target="_blank">where the picture was actually taken.</a></p>

We have heard from all the city and government officials that with the opening of the Morganza Spillway, that we may see animals (snakes, gators, bears, deer, hogs) in places that we don't normally see them as they seek higher ground from the water pouring into areas designated to relieve the swelling Mississippi.</p>

Everyone is a little clueless from time to time, some of us just have better ways of showing it than others, lol.
