A new study confirms that women are checking their reflections in mirrors (or any reflective surface, for that matter) around eight times per day. The more shocking result of the study is that they don’t enjoy doing so.
This week’s issue of Time magazine features a cover story on attachment parenting, a controversial form of child-rearing that involves breastfeeding to an older age, co-sleeping and wearing children in slings. It also features a cover image of a mother breastfeeding her three-year-old son that’s sure to raise a few eyebrows.
Moms do a lot for us. Even after we are no longer their responsibility, they are still doing things for us that we take for granted. We should be celebrating these great ladies every single day of the year, not just on Mother’s Day.
