You may remember Chamillionaire as the rapper that brought us "Ridin Dirty," but did you know about his entrepreneurial endeavors?

Chamillionaire, real name Hakeem Seriki, has been the new face in the office at Upfront Ventures in Los Angeles. Over the last five years, the Houston emcee has been quietly, but actively involved in the tech startup scene.

According to Complex, Chamillionaire was one of the earliest investors in Maker Studios, an online video network (founded in 2009) that was sold to Disney for $500 million in 2014.
