Chimpanzee Escapes Zoo, Resorts To Power Lines [VIDEO]

The chase ultimately ended when the chimp was located on the power lines in a neighborhood. Someone was able to shoot the monkey with a tranquilizer and it ultimately brought the large chimp back into custody.

I have to give it to the man in the bucket truck here, only feet away from the monkey. There's no way I'd have gone up there to retrieve this aggressive animal. Nope.

We're just glad that the primate was not injured in his escape. He was brought back to the zoo and an investigation is underway to determine how it escaped.
