21 Savage’s immigration case is not really a laughing matter. Nevertheless, there are hundreds of memes poking fun at the rapper’s arrest this past weekend, and this past Monday (Feb. 4), Chris Brown joined in the trend.

Jumping onto his Instagram account, C. Breezy posted an meme based on 21's verse in the rapper's 2016 XXL Freshman Cypher. This modified version dubbed 21's verse with the vocals of a British rapper, with the intention being to mock 21's proven U.K. roots. From there, 'Set decided to clap back in the comments section of Breezy's post.

For his reply, Offset wrote, “Memes ain’t funny lame.”

Now, it's unclear if Brown was necessarily making fun of 21 Savage’s legal predicament. For his caption, the singer wrote, “CMON FAM, STOP PLAYING WIT DA MANS DEM.” Still, it looks like Offset, who once made a project with 21, wasn't cool with Brown promoting the meme.

Offset has been very outspoken about the 21 Savage memes that have been popping up over the last few days. On Sunday (Feb. 4), the Georgia rapper jumped onto Twitter to make it clear that 21's current situation is not a joke.

"ALL THE MEMES AND SHIT AINT FUNNY WHEN SOMEBODY GOING THROUGH SOME PRAYING FOR MY DAWG," Offset began. "AINT SHIT FUNNY HIS [FAMILY] DEPENDING ON HIM," he tweeted.

Pop singer Demi Lavato and conservative pundit Tomi Lahren also had to learn the hard way that poking fun at 21 Savage's legal situation is not a laughing matter. For her part, Lovato simply said that the memes were funny. After saying as much, she ended up being harassed so much she deactivated her Twitter account. Lahren, on the other hand, switched around the lyrics to 21's "Bank Account" to make them about illegal immigrants.
