Chris Brown Breaks Up With Girlfriend Karreuche Tran, Renews ‘Friendship’ With Rihanna

Well it looks like the inevitable has taken place and Chris Brown and Karreuche Tran are done-zo. According to Hollywood Life, who claims to have received an exclusive statement from Breezy, he and Tran are officially over.

Here is the official and exclusive statement that Hollywood Life says they received from the pop star:

I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don’t want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I’d rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.

Ha, isn't it cute how Chris Brown described his relationship with Rihanna as a "friendship?" Especially after their little "date night" last night at an insanely public concert. Let's go ahead and assume that by saying "I'd rather be single," Breezy really means "I'd rather be with Rihanna."

You know, I kind of applaud the guy for not making his current GF look like a fool (to a VERY large public audience mind you) any longer than he already has. Am I crazy for thinking that by Halloween we will see CB and RiRi back together as an official couple? She has already admitted to Oprah that he is "the love of her life," and they sure haven't been secretive about their "friendliness" as of late.

Only time will tell.
