In a year in which there were more downs than ups for Chris Brown, he's ending 2013 on a more positive note. The singer recently left rehab to host his first annual holiday toy drive at Brooklyn Projects in Los Angeles.

TMZ shares that the 'Loyal' crooner was all smiles during his charity day, helping gift presents to underprivileged kids. Although Breezy is on 90 days of rehab lockdown, his advisors thought it was a good idea that he participate in this community service.

The 24-year-old entertainer, who's now sporting blonde hair, collected piles of toys -- including bikes and stuffing animals -- and also took time out to pose for photos with his supporters. Tyga and comedian Kevin Hart joined the festivities to support the artist.

Brown's good behavior has been paying off. Recently, a judge who revoked his probation applauded him for his strides made in rehab. The ‘Fine China’ creator had his probation revoked after he allegedly attacked a man outside of a Washington, D.C., hotel around 4:30AM in October. The judge felt the allegations of assault were enough to revoke probation, which stems from Brown’s 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Although he was granted access to leave the rehab facility for the Christmas toy drive, Brown must return as he was only allowed out to attend the event.
